This Privacy Policy explains what information WEARS (“WEARS”, “we”, “us”) collects through the WEARS mobile app and website (wearsplus.com), why we collect it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using WEARS, you agree to this policy.

Information we collect

Account information: the name, and either a phone number or an email address you provide when you sign up, plus your country, city, and delivery address if you add one.
Order information: the products you purchase, quantities, colors/sizes chosen, shipping address, and order status history.
Content you submit: product reviews and ratings you leave after a delivered order, and a profile photo if you choose to upload one.
Phone verification: if you use phone sign-up, password reset by SMS, or phone-based login, we use Firebase Phone Authentication (a Google service) to send and verify a one-time code. Google processes your phone number solely to deliver that code.
Vendor/store content: if you register as a vendor, we collect the product photos, descriptions, and pricing you submit for listing on the marketplace.
Technical information: basic device and app information needed to operate push notifications (if you enable them) and to keep you signed in securely.

How we use your information

To create and manage your account, process and deliver your orders, and let vendors fulfill orders you place with them.
To send you order-status notifications, respond to support requests, and, only if you enable notifications, alert you to relevant updates.
To send password-reset codes by email (via Resend) or SMS (via Firebase), and account-related emails.
To display your name and review on a product page after you rate a delivered order, so other shoppers can see genuine feedback.
To keep the marketplace safe — for example, reviews are only accepted from shoppers who actually received the product.

What we don't do

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We do not show third-party advertising inside the app.
We do not collect payment card data — orders are currently paid on delivery.

Who we share information with

Vendors whose products you order receive the order details (items, address, contact) needed to fulfill and ship your order.
Service providers that help us operate WEARS: Firebase/Google (phone verification), Resend (transactional email delivery), and our hosting provider (server infrastructure). These providers only process data on our behalf and under their own security/privacy commitments.
We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of WEARS, our users, or the public.

Data retention

We keep account and order information for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed for legitimate business, accounting, or legal purposes.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your name, contact details, and address at any time from your account settings.
You can turn push notifications on or off at any time.
You can permanently delete your account and its data (orders, cart, wishlist, and reviews) yourself, at any time, from Profile → Delete account in the app. You can also request deletion by contacting us at the address below. Either way, we may keep information we're required to retain for legal or accounting reasons.

Children's privacy

WEARS is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under that age.

Security

Passwords are stored using one-way hashing, not in plain text. Data in transit between the app/website and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the “Last updated” date above when we do. Continued use of WEARS after a change means you accept the updated policy.
